Owners of one of the greatest band names ever Only Fumes & Corpses release their debut album ‘Who Really Cares, What Really Lasts’ this week.
Galway hardcore punk band Only Fumes & Corpses release launch their new album at Aras Na Gael on Dominick Street, Galway on Thursday 22nd July. “Who really Cares, What really lasts” is their first full length (12 songs) and will be available on the night on both CD and vinyl. The vinyl version comes with a download card which has a unique code so you can get high quality audio files and download them straight to your MP3 player.
Since forming 5 years ago the band have toured all across Europe including festival appearances and support slots to some of the biggest names in hardcore. Recent line-up changes have given the band a new sound and even more ambition to get the music out there. The new album sees the band experimenting with d-beat, dub and off course plenty of straight ahead hardcore. Several independent labels have helped the band in releasing this album and the band are currently in talks with labels to get the album released worldwide.
The band will be joined by Easpa Measa, Stick Around and This Tongue Is Poison for their launch gig so get there early to avoid disappointment. Doors are at 8:30pm and there is a €7 cover charge (€10 includes the CD and €12 includes the vinyl).
Zhivago Records in Galway will also be stocking the album from the 23rd and the band will be performing in-store at 7pm that night.
