Philadelphia-based Irish duo Games Violet have released their debut EP Nixie
Games Violet is Alexander Games and Emma Violet, both of whom are in Princeton University’s music composition doctoral program. They list their influences as Alejandro Jodorowsky, Dorothea Tanning, Prince, Charles Burns, and Gesualdo and, when they’re not studying or writing and producing ‘surrealist pop music’ in their home studio, they also fit in writing for orchestra, theatre, laptop ensembles and sound installations.
Games Violet will release their debut LP in September.
