A compilation of rare & previously unreleased material from Estel‘s 12 year history will be released by Quarter Inch Collective next month.

On April 9th, legendary scions of the Dublin alternative scene, Estel, are releasing No Fi, Lo Fi Hi Fi, a collection of various rare and previously unheard tracks from their eclectic 12-year career. The album will cherry pick 14 tracks that highlight the band’s passionate diversity and uncompromising vision. No Fi, Lo Fi, Hi Fi will be released on a limited run of 150 cassettes and will be available to download from Bandcamp. You can stream the first two tracks from the tape right now on Soundcloud.

No Fi, Lo Fi, Hi Fi will be launched in the Lower Deck in Dublin on the 9th of April, with support from fellow noise-mongers Hounds and Ginola. Door tax will be ten euro and you’ll get a free copy of the cassette and free download when you get there. The cassette will be available from some reputable record stores around the country after the launch, as well as from our webshop.
