Amateur Historians
like to play noisy pop songs that fall out of their brains in the early hours. Sharing a DIY ethos and a passion for pop culture references, Chris Curry, Luke Casey & Gerard McCorry met via the internet and set about recording and throwing themselves around stages.

Despite forming in early 2011, Amateur Historians have already garnered some local critical acclaim; drawing comparisons to bands like Los Campesinos!, Cap’n Jazz and Pavement.

You can buy New Homes / New Hopes from Bandcamp right now for £5, which gets you a CD, a homemade zine & a download copy of the EP.
