the full moon certainly seemed to bring it all out tonight.
a palable air of tension. a mixed crowd.
betamax format - my first time seeing them - played a brief set which reminded me at times of big black, and at others of skullflower, with a synth pop overtone imbuded with an interesting intensity.
zorilla, despite innumerable obstructions still managed to produce some of the most intrequing and original rock music i have heard in many years.
the sound in bodkins is shit.
well done to the bands that played.

Zorilla - The best band in Ireland - fuckin brilliant! They are all deadly! I wish there were more bands like that. Sounds like a Fibber McGees version of The Fall.
