[h=2]Chain Reaction Presents:[/h][h=2]Legend Of Noise ZBIGNIEW KARKOWSKI playing his first gigs in Ireland.[/h]ZBIGNIEW KARKOWSKI
He works actively as a composer of both acoustic and electroacoustic music. He has written pieces for large orchestra (commissioned and performed by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra), plus an opera and several chamber music pieces that were performed by professional ensembles in Sweden, Poland, and Germany. He is a founding member of the electroacoustic music performance trio "Sensorband." Zbigniew has lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan for the past eight years, and is active in the underground noise scene there. Colleague of MERZBOW in MAZK.
Free-abstraction that punishes, not by intent but only due its liberation from whatever it is that it could be meant to be. As cruel as a child.

SAFE
Safe's 'music' combines treated field recordings, mixed live on an array of cd players and combined with electronics, no-input mixing desk, metals, vocals and keyboards. Pieces are entirely improvised, and span the range of sound from strange ambiences to overpowering noise.

GEN 26
In 2002 Matjaz started a solo project, called GEN 26. GEN 26 is dedicated to sound experimentation, natural, urban noise, sound deviation and manipulation. All this is done on the level of improvisation through self-thought manipulation elements.
"Piercing lecture from Gen 26. LEGEND of the Slovenian DIY scene, never compromised, never human, brute reality and clinical dissections of discomfort. Harsh."

GAVIN PRIOR
Gavin Prior is known to some as a member of United Bible Studies. He currently plays in the noise duo Toymonger and is working on the debut album of his newest band Sabre Series. He has been based in Dublin for almost a decade and has improvised with musicians from Ireland and around the world including Seán Meehan, David Lacey, Rhodri Davies, Okkyung Lee and Damo Suzuki. He plays straight acoustic guitar and electric guitar with preparations and extended technique. For years he has been circuit bending and modifying cheap instruments which can be heard in his recordings with Toymonger and various improvisational meetings. Over the years he has performed throughout Ireland, Europe and East Asia. He co-founded the Deserted Village label. www.desertedvillage.com
For the Dublin Performance performance Gavin Prior will be joined by the etherial wailing of the wonderful Tuula Voutilainen who has also played in United Bible Studies.

LUXURY MOLLUSC
'an Irish Noise project, radical, and going beyond the social and ideological framework. Its music is raw and rough.
A series of electronic devices and a microphone are used to create this unique roughness. The artist also resorts to scrap and waste which he devastates freely to bringing out the remains of “life” out of them. Dense patches of sound and sound structures that accompany LUXURY MOLLUSC during performances
are typical of this music. Destruction!"
Solo castration jams, drainlander, harsh puddle.
