you're so money (1 Viewer)

Jaysus. Everyone's doing the big bills thing these days.

Once it isn't around the same time as the Sabbath, I'd say it's a good and reasonable idea.

its not on the sabbath. and as for the big bill thing, well the people just want more more more, soon stadium rock will be de rigeur in an attempt to quench their insatiable appetite for entertainment

Hmm. May 2nd?
I'd say that=pricks.
The Sabbath thing is on 3 days later and is for charity.

Sorry that's a school night - you'll have to reschedule.

vis by D.A.D.D.Y. & Delicious Nine
Venue= Vicar Street
Date= Thursday 2nd May (Confirmed)
Ticket Price= €8.00ish Includes 6 bands + late club

dudley (04 Apr, 2002 03:54 p.m.):
how come you just dropped your price

havent. thats what the ish is for. i'm just trying to find out what youz think a reasonable price would be without the bands having to wash dishes at the end of the night to cover the costs of the event.

it's very close to the Sabb, both in terms of date and lineup.
You'll never be able to afford Vicar St and pay that many people for €8-10 admission, will you?

dudley (04 Apr, 2002 03:59 p.m.):
hey

seeing as these are all local bands, why not try and move the date a bit further away from the sabbath. shouldn't be a problem?

not up to me to make that decision especially if the venues already been booked....funny cos some of the bands playing this are also doing the sabbath and i'm suprised they didnt spot the upset.

joss (04 Apr, 2002 04:39 p.m.):
1.Who booked it?
2.Was it booked ages in advance or something?
3.Can it be changed?

Considering it's some of the same people playing I think it's a less-than-good thing.

answers:
1.dont know
2.quite probably
3.doubt it

i've been informed that its not really the same line up (just two same acts) so i dont think sabbath is under threat and besides i'm getting abuse for passing on your concerns
