Hello,
Yeh Deadlies' debut album, The First Book Of Lessons is being released on Popical Island on April 8th.
There's a launch gig on 1st April in Shebeen Chic, Dublin (Popicalia #8) and another on the 2nd April in Róisín Dubh, Galway.
It would be great to see you there!
Here's some of the nice things people have said:
"an absolute gem, one of the finest albums of the year" - Popgoestheradio.blog
"Some bands get it. Some bands don’t. Dublin’s ramshackle Yeh Deadlies do[...] there’s such a wonderfully warm feeling to Yeh Deadlies’ music" - Everett True, Song Of The Day
"Yeh Deadlies’ roomy debut, The First Book of Lessons has the clout to punch Irish songwriting up a level[...]The sweet boy/girl vocals will be the talking point but there’s more than sugar holding it together" - Newswhip.ie
"overflowing with power-pop hooks and cute, boy/girl harmonies" - Snipe London
"Yeh Deadlies are distinctly Dublin in sound and cheery in tone [...] golden age pop by the most rudimentary of means" - Hot Press
"A very fine Dublin band" -The Ticket
"An absolute joy of a single from this Dublin group...an absolutely beautiful nugget of super-optimistic, shambolic, sugar-rush, we-can-do-anything, distantly wistful, cardigan-wearin’ power-pop that bounces around like sitting on a freshly mown hillside with your friends on the last day of school in July...It’s so great I could cry. - Stereo Sanctity Blog
"crepe-paper-pop". - NME
