Being able to try out random gear before you decide on what you want.
No waiting for packages/cranky drivers/it never turning up at all.
Being able to walk back into the shop and demanding a refund cos you really don't want it anymore.

3-4 working days with Dolphin. I've been shopping with them for 3 years. Nothing has failed to turn up. And UPS are pretty polite.

Being able to walk back into the shop and demanding a refund cos you really don't want it anymore.

I've returned stuff to irish stores before and I've always got the third degree and been made feel like I'm trying to cheat them. Not the case with Dolphin. I sent an SM57 back to them -I had a refund of the item and the shipping costs before they even received the mic from me.

Sorry, still not sold.

well, a lot of people care about the price of things. it's a good thing to discuss the best places to buy from. price and competition and all that, yaknaow?!

bedbugs, you're right. i noticed the same thing this week with a few examples like the SM58. As far as I can see, it's good to have it there, but probably won't be the cheapest option. Dolphin are a great store. Guitar And Keyboard (GAK dot CO dot UK), I find, are worth a look too for similar pricing.
