“Dropped” as in “the new album drops Tuesday” or “daily drop”.
If I was in charge I would jail people for that.

Once a colleague said "snorkel"... as in a brief investigation in to a process or project rather than a "deep dive".I’m sure someone must have said this one already, but “deep dive”.

I also remember "caveat" circulating around an office I worked in.
Someone used it in a meeting or a document and it caught on. Soon people were using "caveat" even when it wasn't relevant - but sounded right.
I guess people in offices are lost for words, so they grab any fancy word or phrase that comes along.
Nobody seems to know what innovative means. My new one is "innovate", which isn't necessarily a problem word innd of itself (I also hate the term "in and of itself"), but when people in the office use "innovative" to refer to any change they make to literally anything. "OMG Angela, your new checklist is really innovative, I love how you've STREAMLINED it and we now have only 20 checks instead of 30. This is just a GAME CHANGER ANGELA".
"cancel culture" and everything it entails
That was a first cup of coffee overreaction on my part there. Sorry Stef.
