- A new independent record label and promotion company
WE ARE WICK!

We are also two people who live and work in Belfast and have worked in the
music industry for several years. Both of us have gigged the local pub circuit
and the local alternative 'scene' ,have been involved with running clubs, and
we now both work for a major Irish Record Company. So, now we have branched out
on our own and have set up Wick Recordings - We want to release records,
showcase local talent, organize (and wreck!) a few parties, promote existing
acts by (amongst other things), offering affordable promo videos and
professional photographs, organizing tours for local and visiting bands and
putting on gigs by people you want to see.
And, we want to do this by employing up - and - coming local
artists/technicians and using local resources. That way we can help people to
help us to help themselves, if you see what we're saying, and along the way
we'll hopefully unearth a few gems.
