At home in the country for Easter, decided I'd drive out last night to save the hassle of taxis. But I'm worse today than if I had a serious hangover. I don't understand it at all.

I'm shattered today. Didn't pull in at home till 5AM, to make matters worse I got lost on the far side of Dublin before I got into the city centre before I made my way back out to Clane.

I slept for way too long the last few nights and I'm wrecked during the day as a result. Been in stupid college wrestling with PHP all weekend as well
My friend is picking me up at 8.30 am tomorrow to go to college. This is totally uncool but I'll probably feel better as a result.

when you're drinking your body converts alcohol to sugars (of some sort, or soemthing) so you're on a mad sugar buzz, like a child on pepsi, as much as being drunk. Hence it's all too easy too stay up till 6am drinking, but very hard to sit up till 6am for pretty much any other reason you care to think of

this is true. however, this never seems to work if you're drifting off to sleep at four in the morning with work just a few hours away

I find I can sleep for hours after the booze, but I still feel knackered the next day

I figured it was cause I'm more 'passed out' then actually 'sleeping'

My experience is the exact opposite. A little nightcap is ok, anything more and I wake up knackered
