Spending Le Bank 'oliday weekend in Dunmore East. Anything nearby we should check oot? Child-friendly (toddler + 4 year old) stuff gets bonus points.

dunmore east itself is nice. tramore is good for kids.

Aparently there are unusual goats somewhere near the city centre. I've never seen them though.

Lismore has a nice castle, a good pub called The Red Hand and a very decent restaurant called The Chophouse.

Um...It's actually called the Red House.

You can also see the gaf of Dervla Murphy, renowned travel writer, cyclist and madzer. She never leaves it tho except to cycle around the world or go on some other nutty jaunt.
