I had to ask the guy using one on the deck next to my building to stop at 8:30 the other night
Felt conflicted about it

i'd say using one after 7 on a work night is a douche move, when people are trying to grasp a few straws of relaxation before the next morning

it's incredibly loud and annoying

might start soon though

That was the thought. I was trying to watch Mr Robot.
On the other hand, it's just another immigrant trying to make a go of it, make his new place decent for him and his partner.
He apologised in the broken English he had. And then continued for another 5-10 minutes.
I might be the only one noticing it because I'm too cheap/stubborn to get air conditioning and have every window wide open since May. Everyone else's place is hermetically sealed.

Also, the other downside was that if I ratted him to the cops, he'd defo know it was me.
