a friend of mine who is from ashbourne is none too unhappy with this. she says the ward stag hunt people are incredibly arrogant.

apparently they were none too impressed when a couple of years ago, the deer ran into a farmyard, and the farmer herded the deer into one of his outhouses, and wouldn't let the hunt near it. they'd killed three of his sheep stampeding across his land.

They claim they don't and at the end of the hunt it's put back in a horsebox and taken back from whence it came.

locals were really pissed off at them they caused damaged to farms that day to.They refused to apolagise .they were asked not to come in the area again and thay came back following week taking the piss!

Another dodgy thing about is that it's not a wild stag. They breed them to be hunted and therefore they should technically be classed as domestic animals and it should therefore be illegal to chase them around and kill them for fun. But it was some sort of loophole. Hopefully now these cunts won't be able to do it anymore.
