so my friend watched it last week and said it had her bawling crying but that it was really well put together. did anyone see it? there's anotehr one on tonight (i think) in about an hour's time. might give it a watch though im not sure im in the mood for a crai. hmmm......

fair enough. bawling crying i was though. and THEN i watched Philadelphia so I was bawling again.

but anyway I dunno; i find these programmes really - can't find the word. sad, but very worthwhile watching? reckon it would have a definite impact if you showed that kind of stuff in prisons perhaps....

I am not sure if those programs are good for you or not.
I have wondered about that before.
Sometimes, when they film people bawling their eyes out burying a child or something I get really annoyed with fucking RTE or whatever.
Tell us the news. The son died.
We dont need to see the ma. We get it. She's not going to be thrilled.

I watched... emmm, Braking The Waves, when I was a younger, when it came out and basically, I was floored.
The next day I was still a bit "jaysus, that was a rough film last night".

I dont know what it achieves though.
Maybe it is what it is.
I came back for more, and watched a load or Von Trier films.
Still, something a bit weird is going on.
Some people like to see horror movies and get scared shitless. Some people like to have their heart broken.

Weird.

Love gettin scared shitless by ghostie movies; but it's getting harder theses days.

Heartbreak. You can watch anything and be in bits afetrward if yer peaky enough. I sat through Moonlight Mile and was taken back a couple years. I was a mess when i came too. And it's not that great a film either.

Three men and a little lady too. Every time man. I'm that bad.
