Which, in your opinions, are the best Irish venues (nationwide) for independent/unsigned music?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Upstairs in Phil Grimmes' Waterford. small (smaller than the Boom boom room) but a nice place to play

well apparently the band room is being extended to twice the size(if not more).i heard a 150 capacity being mentioned.. a small stage is being put it and its going to be in the same realm as boomboomroom. sounds great to be honest. but yeah i do think that the emphasis will be on folk/electronica/quiet stuff but who knows?

Heard it's a capacity of 100, will primarily be used for acoustic performance
and should be ready by December...seemingly its up where the band room and
the ould leaky jackx used ta be.... Cant see how it could be used at
the same time as the main venue though!

hmm. still though. i think we've sorely needed somewhere like the parlour bar since that 'sold out'. like upstairs in anseo and stuff is great but this could be better..
