Ohh good plan.

I know this has been said many mannnny times on thumped but he drew Neil's portrait before, it is proudly framed and hung in our flat.

Wow, what a treasure! I contacted him a few years ago regarding turning his 'New York, New York' poem into an animated short. Then 9/11 happened and I kinda shyed away from the subject matter a bit. He did send me another poem he'd just written though which was very nice of him. Maybe I'll have another go at it someday. I'm fully confident that this gig will be one of the best concert going experiences of my life.

When I went and got my potrait done by DC the people in front of us brought a video camera with them so they could film DC drawing them. They were so annoying.

Them: why don't you play live?
DC: I don't really feely the need too.
Them: But you would be amazing, why don't you play live?
DC: I just like recording and writing poems.
Them: Why don't you play live though?

This went on for about ten minutes, with DC getting increasingly agitated. He was extremely nice when I was talking to him though.

I think the standard reply for somewhere to drink in Glasgow is nice n sleazy's. But you wouldn't really call it 'nice'.

I'm looking forward to get my red stripe on this weekend.
