It's a bit sad alright, but a great watch nonetheless.

Some friends of mine went to see him in Galway shortly before he died (in the Roisin Dubh?), sometime during the summer of '96 I think, apparently he was in a bad way

i've only read this one but its touches on some sad stuff and some darkly funny stuff that isnt in the documentary (a great documentary alright)

i saw him in roisin dubh in 94 and he was in great form, not drinkin and wearing a hideous shirt. good times!
