Does anyone know of any companies or contacts for someone who has a splitter van (ie enough space for 5 people as well as driver and room in the back for equipment? It would need to be covered to be taken around Europe for a couple of weeks. Heard of a couple of people doing it in Ireland but they either charge extortionate prices or will not cover insurance outside of Ireland. Anyone here have any experience touring around Europe before in such a vehicle?

good luck. there's something about having a splitter in ireland that makes the insurance insane... i've never come across anyone who owns one. jim morrish (i think) used to know someone in cork who rented out a tour van...
