REQUEST FOR WITNESSES, VIDEO FOOTAGE AND/OR PICTURES OF BLAIR PROTEST

Firstly, three activists were arrested at the protest in Dublin last Saturday and will be brought before the court soon. Could any witnesses, or people with video footage or pictures please contact Donal at 087 6838746 or email him on [email protected]

Secondly, well done to all who participated in, and helped organise, the IAWM protest against Tony Blair last Saturday outside Easons Bookshop on O’ Connell Street. Our protest has been reported in many international media outlets and it clearly rattled Blair. The effect of our protest last Saturday, and the concern over the protests that had been planned in London, have forced Blair to cancel his two book launch events there this week. A minor victory in the struggle to bring war criminals to justice. Blair is clearly running scared.

No pictures that would disciminate the Gardai but they did grab one of the arrested protesters and in a gap at the shoe shop on the corner next to The Oval pub they had him we say in a compromising position.
