Caracoles
Caracoles is a Dublin based group that have delved into various styles, including funk, reggae, and post-rock. They formed originally in 2007, when singer/guitarist/ pianist Kieran started jamming with guitarist/violinist Sergio. The two started writing songs, and soon other musicians joined, including Djembe and Bass players. 2009 saw the rebirth of the band with a new line up after drummer/percussionist/trumpeter Dror and bassist/bio-dancer Richard joined. A new sound was also born, combining elements of minimalism, post-rock, and lo-fi reggae.
Drunken Boat:
Dublin based two-piece band, Drunken boat is an experimental ensemble whose music is sensitivily crafted and lovingly looped.
Michael Canuck:
Originally from Canada, Michael's music has taken the Dublin singer-songwriter scene by storm. Catch him at the Seomra Spraoi in a rare low key appearance.
