This popular alt folk duo was formed by Leo O’Kelly & Sonny Condell in Dublin in 1970 and is regarded as one of the most influential groups to have come from Ireland. They are cited as an inspiration from musicians and songwriters as diverse as Julie Feeney, Jimmy MacCarthy & David Kitt. They caused a sensation both on the folk and rock scenes almost as soon as they landed off the boat train to Britain and were championed by the likes of legendary radio DJ John Peel. Join them for an evening of exceptional music with support from Cormac Breatnach accompanied by Gavin Ralston and Fiachra Trench.

Cool. Used to go see Leo play in Dun Laoghaire a few years ago, he's great.

I recently picked up their first album. Always kept an eye out for it without ever hearing anything from it until I got a copy over in Atlantis Records for a very reasonable price in London a few weeks ago. Stunning album. Real thing of folkie beauty. Sweet acoustic guitars and general instrumentation.
