Girl In A White Dress is the first single from Dublin duo Tiny Magnetic Pets’ critically acclaimed debut album “Return Of The Tiny Magnetic Pets”. The tune has been likened to Stereolab meets Air & St. Etienne & can best be described as 31/2 minutes of pure Kraut-pop bliss. This is a different version from the one on the album as it features Villagers’ James Byrne on live drums. Lyrically the theme is of harking back to a simpler time & the desire to reconnect with one’s ‘carefree self’ - the Girl In A White Dress. Put this on, close your eyes & be transported to your carefree place.
A year on since forming & the band have been busy carving out a unique niche for themselves in Irish music as an unashamed old-school live analogue synth band.
