did anyone see them in whelans? it was amazing, i came over from wales to see them, didnt sleep for 3 days, had nowhere to stay, so walked round all night. was amazing though, well worth it, ahh, soo goood. xxxx patch

well, it wasnt heaving, but i didnt think that it was a bad turn out really, tin hat were just amaazing though, for a smal 3 piece they were so expansive and special. have u hear anything about it?

country folk with a avant garde sort of 'noise' thing

people getting scratchy with the violins and banjos a bit, y'know

but really sweet folk country underneath

Willie Nelson sings on a track, it's proper lush

if any of you kids digged that, check out Blanche, a little more old time 50's, but really really nice. They're playing here soon too.

the accordian guy plays on the john zorn 'invitation to a suicide' film works yokey. fucking amazing album.

invitation to a suicide is a lovely album. yee, tin hat have worked with so many amazing musicians, carla the violinist, is on many tom waits albums, theyve all worked with zorn and marc ribot etc etc etc. the gig was incredible, so atmospheric, reminded me of age old carnivals in greece which is a good thing hehe xx
