not so much a tune as a warm up

i joined a soundpaiting ensemble about 9 months ago, and have learned the soundpainting language up to a point that we can perform live (which we are doing next monday for the first time).

i'd recommend just wikiing soundpainting. we actually have compositions, this is literally us tuning up

My son is just finished with his 1st year of applied music at an IT. Playing contemporary, classical, trad, vocal. A bit of tech and history too. He's mad to play jazz.
Just sat him down and told him, "ye mightn't be into to this know, but have a listen". Slapped on some Walter Thompson, and he listened from start to finish, fair play to him.
He said that its just weird and the people talking and the dancers dancing is a distraction.
He'll get it eventually. Not at 18yo, buh.

OK..I listened..I had to scan through the tracks cos I didnt like it.
too many undanceable meters for me.I'm a conventional dancer

and a sparcity of descernible lyrics

The production is brilliant though..and I have no doubt theres an audience for it ,so good job.

Respect is due

This isn't the sort of tune I would normally make, but I was messing about with a couple of patches on a Jupiter 8 emulator and came up with this ambient droney sorta thing. It's 2 tracks, a loop reversed and another melody part. I'll probably never do anything else with it aside from stick it on Soundcloud. So here it is
