I saw him in Whelans on Arthur's day a few years back. We went in on the rumour that Tom Jones was gonna play and then this ginger lad with an acoustic guitar we'd never heard of came out and the crowd went mental.

He put on a good show though, not the kind of thing I'd want to listen to myself but I wish him well. Better than 99% of the dreary fucks with an acoustic guitar you'll see in Whelans. In conclusion FAIR PLAY, FAIR PLAY.

What I don't get about sheeran is how like... every time I hear I song I go "ok is that justin timberlake?" and then "fuck is that like... james blunt or some shit"... there's like, no actual "sound", no cohesion, he just sounds like a bunch of other people who don't sound like each other.

Pop equivalent of punk guys goin "this is my crust band" and "now this is my oi band" and "this is the band where i wanna sound exactly like the germs in 77 and ONLY 77". FUCKING PUNKS.
