Interesting. It kind of sounds like one of the Jurassic Park themes.

Now I am listening to the number 2 track in the world now, Lean On, it's quite good.

I like how they have all the vocal tics from recent years thrown in:

There's the HEEEEYYYY, HOOOOOOO's from a few years back kind of low in the mix in parts

and then there's the HA's (as found in Roar by Katy Perry) a bit higher in the mix, because it's closer chronologically I suppose.

I don't think much of it either, I just listen to them out of interest on what it is the yoof are liking these days. I find sometimes that by exposing myself* blindly to whatever is doing well in the charts I sometimes stumble upon an understanding of some form of music that previously was alien to me.

That's what made me go and look. I used to watch TOTP regularly fro the same reason.

This is particularly appalling though. Horrible in every way.

I was pleasantly surprised by Blurred Lines and All About the Bass when I eventually got around to hearing them...just in case I have given the crazy impression that I hate all pop music.
