In the early 1980's Yamaha had a brilliant way of saving space in shipping containers: They made their organs with a system of locks and hinges so that the cabinet could be folded down to a smaller volume. Thereby they could ship more organs in the same space. This system also made it possible for me to transport the organ in my small Suzuki car.

I've owned a yamaha electone 505 for years. I write on it all the time. It always lives in the house as its too bulky to gig, even when i drove the beast.
