the clay davis trial was amazing - best thing so far this series
"what just happened?"
"i don't know but they don't teach it in law school"
poor clay's driver.

the nick sobotka apperance in episode 5/6 was a bit tagged on.
shouldn't he be under police or federal protection? wonder why
Johnny 50 ended up on the streets and the other stevedores
seemed to be pretty clean. was it really necessary to bring
back savino for all of a minute? s'cool guys, i remember him too!

the black Sun guy is way too much of a martyr. in a show where
pretty much everyone has stink on them, he's annoyingly pious.

the ending of episode seven was pretty cringe worthy. seemed
like it was an idea thrown around for the end of the last episode.

"good night hoppers"

yep, the whole season's a bit weird thus far. i do like it, but the omar spider man shit and the serial killer thing are really out there. apart from that, i'm liking it a lot. marlow's crew are really growing on me, a totally different bag than the barksdale lot. mcnulty's drinking is overly emphasised, we get the message like. some nice wire tap things building up too. also, more snoop.

omar jumping out the window = fonzy jumping over a shark on waterskies

how many more times is omar gonna get to say "HE AIN'T MAN ENOUGH TO MEET ME ON THE STREETS!!!" and then hobble off

what's up with the photo messages of the clocks?

i reckon the messages mean a time to meet and amount of dope maybe.
omar should use a 12 gauge as a crutch.
beadie russell, wouldja?

no way, she has kids. fannys probably bashed up big time

daniels is the most ripped man ever - like he rowed the entire ship by himself

I don't know if I'm feeling this so far. Only three episodes left and I can't see where it's going to be honest. The Omar thing is getting ridiculious, they've changed his character. Why the hell did he kill Savino? He said something "ah fuck it" and then shot him?! And how did he not recognise Michael? He was shooting at him for fuck sake..

Clay Davis trial was the greatest thing ever though. I think the serial killer schtick is excellent too.

I still think my previous verdict that everyone will fall from grace barring the odd one or two (including Marlo, he's going to RULE baltimore) is going to ring out (Omar will die, McNulty/Lestor disgraced, Sun dude fired etc etc). The whole thing falling apart is already starting as the editor in the Sun has started to cop on to yer mans lies and will take him down..

yeah, it's not the best...better than most things on telly

i guess the savino thing relates to brandon in season 1..
but bringing savino back at all was totally unnecessary.
i actually thought we'd see more of Avon and 'Boris' - but
no, just a silly cameo.

the rate it's going, they'll probably have fucking Kenard
kill "that gimp" Omar. i love Kenard though. he's fierce.

also - i don't understand how michael is both muscle and
working a corner. has anyone else in omar's crew done
this?

i think the point is that muscle is thin on the ground (hey, it ain't like Eggy Mule is gonna make a comeback), every crew has been lamenting that fact for the past few seasons.
same reason for bringing Savino back i'd say.

i didn't mind the Savino thing, but true, the dock workers were a bit tagged in after no mention at all for Seasons 3 + 4.

it's definitely the "wackiest" season so far... i'm not really lovin the fake gnashing serial killer thing, nor the Shattered Glass newsroom storyline.

it's nice to see Snitchin' Randy standin up for hisself these days though... pushin little kids on the stairs and all.

real life biog of felicia "snoop" pearson:

Pearson was born premature to two drug-addicted and incarcerated parents and reared in an East [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltimore"]Baltimore[/ame] foster home. Hours old and about 3lbs, doctors didn't expect her to live. She was so small she was fed with an eyedropper until she grew stronger. Days went by and she continued to survive, so Snoop was made a ward of the court and reared in an East Baltimore foster home. While other 12-year-olds were in school, Snoop was learning the drug game. At 14, Snoop was sentenced to 8 years in prison for the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_degree_murder"]second degree murder[/ame] of Okia Toomer. She said her life turned around at 18, when a man she called Uncle Loney, a local drug dealer who looked out for her and sent her money in prison, was shot and killed. It was he who had given her the nickname "Snoop" because she reminded him of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Brown"]Charlie Brown[/ame]’s favorite beagle [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snoopy"]Snoopy[/ame] in the comic strip [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peanuts"]Peanuts[/ame]. She finished school while behind bars. After earning her [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GED"]GED[/ame] in prison, Pearson was released in 2000. She landed a local job making car bumpers, she said, but was fired two weeks later after her employer learned she had a prison record.
Pearson is [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Openly_gay"]openly gay[/ame].[1][2]

for prop joe in one of the seasons, or did i imagine that?

i don't think they made a huge deal out of it, but i'm pretty
sure he tipped off marlo or someone before.
