i am a massive modest mouse fan but can you believe i didn;t notice it was a modest mouse cover album until I got to this song. was a very weird moment as I adore the modest mouses original, while this is achingly gorgeous also

I had never heard Modest Mouse until after I got the Sun Kil Moon album. Shows how much I know. I bought loads of MM after that though. Really great band up to the last album, which was bad. Favorite would prob be The Lonesome Crowded West. Or even Good News (although quality dips a bit as it goes on).. The versions on the Sun Kil Moon almost might as well be different songs.

I had never heard modest mouse until after I got the Sun Kil Moon album. Shows how much I know. I bought loads of MM after that though. Really great band up to the last album, which was bad. Favorite would prob be The Lonesome Crowded West. Or even Good News (although quality dips a bit as it goes on).. The versions on the Sun Kil Moon almost might as well be different songs.

recently,although you've really got to balance out all the slow tempi with some hot snakes.
