The Richter Collective Proudly Presents Kidd Blunts last ever Dublin gig and the launch of "The Flood" their last album !!!
KIDD BLUNT
Kidd Blunt began in 1998 in Kilcoole, a small village in Co. Wicklow. The band rehearsed and shaped what would become the first faze in the bands evolving life span. They gigged locally like all new bands and recorded their first release the 82 ep in early 2001. After this the band began to get involved in the Dublin and Irish D.i.y. Punk scene, playing in Dublin and around the country. For the next few years the band played most weekends and began gathering a small following. In 2004 the band headed for a short trip in Europe and released a split cd with Dublin's Puget Sound on Rejected Records.
The following years saw the band play extensively outside of the country including Scandinavia, The U.K. and Europe. In Summer of 2006 their first full-length cd/lp 'Grey, Black, Grey' was released. The band Set off to Tour again and played near-constantly until beginning writing for their debut full-length 'The Flood' To be released on Dublin based Independent label The Richter Collective as a limited edition release at the bands final show .

TEN PAST SEVEN
TP7 burst out of the bogs of kerry like the mythical bog walrus itself; graceful and ferocious with a taste for the deeper grooves. With guitar, bass and drums these three young men from the magical Kingdom bring a refreshingly heathen approach to a scene so often over intellectualised and mined for its own inner reflections. On stage they hold an audience captive, reeled in by mesmerising rhythms and disturbingly hypnotic facial expressions What starts as an impressive display of soulful musical dexterity, quickly evolves into an all out frenzy of voluminous crescendos and gutshakingly metallic climaxes.
