Hey folks, sorry about the shameless plug :

In December 2012 the Dutch underground band 'The Ex' played 3 nights of gigs to celebrate their 33.3 years of existence. The gigs featured songs from their extensive back catalogue as well as collaborations with free improvising musicians such as Tony Buck, Mats Gustafson, Ken Vandermark and many more. Myself and a couple of mates were lucky enough to go over and film the 3 nights which has resulted in a film called 'And So Say All Of Us' which premieres this sunday in the Parlour bar, Whelans at 6 o clock. I presume this was with the blessing of the band?

I read about these in Wire magazine a few months back and they sounded like they might be great. Then when I went to check them out I didn't know where to even start.

Turn is probably my favourite - the first disc is amazing. Dizzy Spells and Starters alternators are from the same era, also great.
