About half way through this book right now. Has to be the most horrible overrated shit I've ever read. Like the storyline isnt so bad but what the fuck is with the characters. They are so rigid and one sided. Any it seems as though Robert Langdon knows everything. God I hate him

Ridiculous. John Grisham and Dan Brown are airport fodder. You can't compare the Secret History with these books. Whether you like the book or not, you can surely see that it's several cuts above the likes of the Da Vinci Code.

A really annoying thing happened to me this weekend. I'm reading the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy at the moment and there was an article in some paper this weekend about re-reading books. Yer man said he was re-reading the Hitchhiker trilogy but that it was ok to skip the "weak" So Long and Thanks For All The Fish, which I was just starting the first page of!
