Who's into them? Their new album was produced by none other than Dangermouse, which doesnt realy add up in my books but I'll wait and see before I judge.

thickfreakness and Rubber Factory were great albums.

Is there any sign of them playing these fair isles at any stage?

I really like them. They did play here a year or two ago ... TBMC

Proof that a blues based rock duo can actually work.

Shame i missed them last time they played. They tour Europe/UK but no sign of an Irish date on their website.

new album is good-ish... sort of Rn'B Soul thing going on, a lot more insturments, bass keyboards and production going on...

just not sure it's what you want from TBK.... y'know?

I'm having "uh is Dangermouse all that good anyhow" thing at the mo', I think TBK got their fangs filed a bit by him on the above album, and the new Gnarls Barkley is an okay song, yr man can obviously sing... but it's not really bangin' is it? If you think about it against, say, Outkast's Hey Yeah (which I defy anyone to sit still thru), it's just a bit flat and sedate

see also: The Sparklehorse album he did, and The Good The Bad and The Queen, very claustaphobic, which worked in the context of the great songwriting and Paul Simmons saved it IMHO
