yea there's kids i work with that know just what to say to get what they want, like if they're getting barred for smashing a window but say their little script of 'but it raining outside and my parents locked me out, ive no where to go, please rita i dont want to be out on my own' then as soon as he's bored 'right lads who want to come back to my gaf and i'll make pancakes', i live beside the kids i work with so i know which of them are lying to my co-workers to get shit out of them and its so freakin annoying.

now i really fancy a chicken breast sandwick!!!!!

Always preferred working with adults, I even noticed a huge difference in the amount of bullshit from working in shelters with 18+ requirements than ones with 21+. Less bravado, needing to prove themselves crap.

I'm a community worker and steer clear of youth work. Adults are so much easier to rationalise with. My sympathy for everyone left a long time ago, it just becomes a job, harsh as it sounds.
