i think it was moved from da2, because the council shut it down.

No probs - sure, you were on telly around that time, so how could you go?

Da2 is closed for 4 weeks by court order to nessy manage to pull out all the stops and get it switched to Slattery's in rathmines - good turnout in the end - not sure if this'll be a regular thing, but who knows.

Aside from having your pub licence, I think you need a licence to have music performances - this licence was revoked in the circuit court on Tue, probably because of persistent complaints from neighbours - it's ridiculous when you consider there are two other bigger venues on the opposite side of the street - hopefully they'll be allowed do gigs once the 4 weeks have expired, but for now we're down one more place to do gigs.

Won't miss it much meeself - and if they'd gotten it soundproofed properly, say.....last time it was closed (or before they opened) then there wouldn't be any gigs cancelled.
