“Their shoegaze-by-way-of-Ash-meets-Adebisi squall gives us the chills…one of the best live bands up-and-coming in the country.- Mike McGrath-Bryan, Drop-D.ie

“Agitate the Gravel wear their influences most visibly on their sleeves, sounding like the genetically-blessed lovechild of Weezer and My Bloody Valentine.” – Nicola Byrne, Goldenplec.com

They were once Agitate the Gravel but grew tired of leaving everywhere in a hurry and decided instead to terrorise the population as Terror Pop!

Cork’s Terror Pop released two acclaimed singles under their former title of Agitate the Gravel and hope to put forward their best foot yet in the form of new single, ‘Wait’; a strident and urgent pop firecracker that oozes melody like an oil spill, the single will be released on April 2nd.

‘Wait’ is the band’s third release in an 18-month spell that has seen the group travelling relentlessly across the country and sharing bills with the likes of punk-rock godfather Mike Watt as well as upcoming Irish acts such as R.S.A.G, Jogging, Fighting With Wire and the Ambience Affair. The band also featured on Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch for 2012′ showcase as well as Hotpress’ ‘Freezer Sessions’.

‘Wait’ will be available on limited CD in selected record stores, as well as digitally on Bandcamp, and will come packaged with the exclusive b-side ‘Incomprehensible’.
