IT:IS:ON Productions are currently making a documentary film on the debate surrounding The Hill Of Tara and the M3 motorway. The working title is "Tar Over Tara? - a story about heritage and development"
We are looking at all aspects of the issue to produce an in depth analysis of the situation,
covering the history of this important area and looking towards the future
regarding the planning of necessary infrastructure in this country.
The documentary does not at present have any funding and this is something which we are seeking. We are particularly interested in private investors. The project has been taken on as the debate is gaining more and more attention throughout the world and work done already on it has indicated that it will be an important piece of work. We have talked to many interesting people from many viewpoints so far and have some great interviews and events to cover over the coming weeks.
It has been decided that in order for the film to cover as much happenings as possible and for it to be a balanced piece of journalism that the best way is by collaborative efforts.
We are interested in hearing from anybody who can help with the production of this film. This includes everybody across the board in film / television production and beyond who can devote some time to the project. Leads in terms of willing interview candidates will also be welcomed as will anyone that can bring anything to the table regarding the project. The work will be paid in accordance to the funding recieved.
The web is a big tool in this project and it will be used as a key part in research and also in the production of the piece. The development of the project will be online on a dedicated site with a forum so people can participate in the film.
We are interested also in hearing from web developers / designers who can help out with this aspect.
