Working an a new experimental project that requires quite a few copies made on cassette. Anyone seen a Stereo Tape Cassette Duplicator on offer around Ireland of late?

All the ebay ones seem to be in the US and of extortionate prices.

Ah but there's a huge difference between a home stereo and a professional tape duplicator. Here's just some of the features a professional duplicator will provide that consumer units don't.

16X Normal Speed (Copies a 60 min. tape in about 2 minutes)
Track Select (One Side/Both Sides)
Erase heads
One button Auto-Copy
Electronic cleaning mode
Direct Drive motors
Short tape indicators
Instant Stop (for editing)

Simply a different world compared to consumer units.

if its not a huge amount of tapes or an ongoing project, some small run duplicators might be a better option than a gear purchase?

Initially the yield would be low 20/pm but growing over time. This is in no way a production run but quality and predictability is important.

I've made do with a stereo before but want to take it to the next level.
