Something decent a la fender or epiphone for a warm clean sound (not metal or anything mad heavy Cash waiting in Dublin. PM me if you have something.

Well you might want to be a bit more discerning. How big do you want it? If you're looking for "Warm" you're probably looking for a Tube amp, even small low wattage tubes can get crazy loud.

I guess the Harley Benton GA5 or similar would work for you, but keep in mind for a "WARM" sound you'll probably still need to crank it a little - though it's more likely the opposite will be the problem, low wattage tube amps have very little clean headroom, if you wanted cleans at a decent level, you might be stuck. A Microcube might work out, use the Jazz Chorus model on it.

He might not want an SS amp, but I agree the Crushes are great amps.

i'd say any amp will do, no matter how small your guitar is.
