Next sligo gig is SAT 17TH MARCH, COOLERA HOUSE, SLIGO. Usual malarky with door
entry of €8.00, doors open at 8pm, first band on at 9.30pm. This special Poo
promotions paddys day will be extra special, so make sure you dont miss it!!
I don't really have to tell you who's playing, it's gonna be corker, so just
come on down to Coolera House!
ok then , this is who's appearing - FREIBOITERS from Germany, an anti
fascist street punk band who specialise in catchy singalong chanting songs
with plenty of great guitar riffs and melodies. Think of early Rejects,
Upstarts.
Sharing the stage, and indeed band name, it's THE FREEBOOTERS, everybodys
favourite scurvy ridden, bucky swilling, vegan fartin' Ireland's own anti
fascists street punks, yes, the one and only FREEBOOTERS. They come
together from many parts of the emerald Isle to create their own brand of
skanking boisterous Oi!/punk hybrid, which is infectious on the feet and
aural alcohol to the ears! Yeay, what better for Paddys day?
EXCUSES, we will be doin the usual, but I'm hoping we can get a few little
surprises together.
