Righto people,

Tonight, the 22nd of August, Neuromantek presents:

Skkatter (V/Vm Records) Live set.

Forkcore, belted meats, electro mash and diced expectations. An electrotinged set from V/Vm's Skkatter, written especially for Neuromantek.

Support tonight comes from Paul Watts, Krossphader and John Braine.

The venue is the Thomas House on Thomas Street, starts around 8.45 and its totally free.

Herv :)

Has the Skkat man done anything for V/VM other than Madonna Is A Filthy Slut?

I must say I love the habit of appending obscure label names to artists.

Insincerely,
Keeror (Pilatus)

Or the way flyers for djs add the city they're from after their name. It's not too bad if its somewhere exotic like chicago or detroit, but seeing something like DJ Rob (Dublin) always seems a bit underwhelming to me

I gave them an EP of nonsense remixes ages ago but their busy releasing other stuff from other artists right now, so I might get a track or two on another V/VM compilation pretty soon.

And yes, the whole "label after name" thing is pretty silly. People in the electronic/DJ world do it all the time, mostly because people who listen to electronic music like me don't remember who they're listening to and quoting the label might jog their memory.

I fail to see the connection between the s@ccahine cd, produced by the lads from sla@nted&ench@nted, and V/VM. Sure he has a track on that cd, but I didn't think V/VM had anything to do with that cd.
