Time for the Sligo man to give a brief history. Westlife is their best name yet. They were originally called IOU. Then it was Westside..which is a dodgy part of Galway, very dodgy...spent the worst few months of my life living there.

I got my 20th birthday headbutt upstairs in Bransky's (that was the Westside Tavern??). Blood all over the place. I came back to conciousness being held over a wash basin full of blood. The memories....

Actually so did I come to think of it. Why would anyone want to hit me? But not in Bransky's, at the time that was infested with arty types with dogs-on-rope and filled with the Jamaican aroma for a good while when BBOS took over and made it a kind of crusty "club".

Yeah, I tend to agree with this guy here. Omelette is a bit of a shit name. So is Large Mound. But I heard some large mound stuff and it's very good. It's just those shit names do the band no favours in the long run. Never heard any Omelette stuff. Is it any good?!cheezy !bog !cheezy

Nah, The Beach Boys was great for it's time, back when it was fresh. Now it's historic. Couldn't really slag off something that old. Old Jazz and blues musicians tended to have the best fuckin names ever! Muddy Waters. Cool! Chuck Berry, although he's rock n' roll, it's fuckin amazing!.|..|
