Poor old Shelly. Not only did she rock in Roseanne, she was in some truly class films in her time.

night of the hunter is rappeh. surprised theres not been a remake. if there ever is, they should get nick cave to write the script.

never knew shelley winters work particularly well. in fact, if shelley winters, shelley duvall, shelley long and shelley from the 80's itv sitcom walked into my living room now, i wouldnt know which was which.

I can't imagine a remake being any good. One of the best things in the Night of The Hunter was all the shadows. It just wouldn't work in colour.

I've read her autobiography - I picked it up in some charity shop for 50p.

I only learnt yesterday that Shelly Winters played Roseanne's granny when it was on the news that she died.
