Seomra Spraoi is a continuing attempt to set up an autonomous Social Centre in Dublin. Having previously rented and decorated a city centre premises, only to have bad luck strike at the last minute, the group are currently looking for a new space.

Sylvan have been together since 2000, in various shapes or forms and have played mainly in Dublin during that time. They recorded the Ugly Lemon EP in Electrical Audio (Chicago) with legendary producer Steve Albini in late 2003. Their angular rock is influenced by the likes of Shellac, Fugazi and Sonic Youth.

The Blood Red Mountain Band are a five piece Alt Folk/country/pop band, from all over the place but currently residing in Dublin. They are self described as "Bonnie Prince Billy jamming with The Pogues. Fishermans Blues as Played by Aretha Franklin and The Band. Ryan Adams on holiday in Galway. The Waterboys renting Big Pink, Foot Stomping Barnstormers and delicate, ice thin, paens of regret and love and celebration."

Another slice of skewed rock comes in the shape of Dograck, a baldoyle three-piece who've been making steady process with their harmonic and off kilter tunes over the past year or so.

DJ Ciaran from the legendary Niacin Sound System will be spinning before, after and in between the bands, and primative karaoke is also promised.

The Lower Deck is located just off Richmond St/Rathmines Road at the Grand Canal.

i hate fancy dress with a passion. i have two options; tramp or biblical figure and both of them suck ass.Tramp means i wear dirty clothes and drink buckfast (not much of a stretch, i've attended weddings in this guise) and biblical figure just shows off all the stains on your sheets. toga toga toga my arse arse arse! this time maybe ill just bring along a u.v light so my crotch will glow the bright blue splatter of a thousand sloppy wanks and wear my cleanest white shirt poca dotted with the splatter of a thousand sloppy kebabs so you can all have your laugh at how i live.

you do have two options but neglected to read the small print... deity or swine!
