yo.
lately, lines have been appearing across negatives i scan.

example:

does anyone know if this is fixable? ie, does the scanner need cleaning? if so, where can i get it seen to?
many thanks.

(disclaimer - not the best negs as i stupidly went to load new film into the camera, forgetting there was already film inside, thus injecting it with a little bit of light  )

has anyone got one of these things that maplins are selling? are they any use? Does it automatically save each picture as a separate image or do you have to chop them yourselves? Can it work through photoshop?

i have a flatbed scanner bought for €175 a few years ago which does 120 as well as 35mm - canon 8400f. while it's passable with b&w, i don't scan colour shots with it as they come out too muddy.

la la - can you see any scratches on the film? scratches and dust usually appear as white on my b&w negs as they are opaque to the scanner, thus coming out white in the inversion.
