Koreless is Lewis Roberts, a 20-year-old from Bangor, now living in Glasgow. We read somewhere that before Koreless, Roberts recorded under the name Nadsat Beats – Nadsat was the street argot made up by Anthony Burgess for the teenage characters in A Clockwork Orange. Well, there's nothing ultraviolent about Koreless's music. It is 2-step of the most serene kind, designed for late-night listening, nocturnal electronica with lots of space and a silence between the beats that speaks volumes.

Roberts described his music in Dazed Digital as "simple, well-defined rhythm, melodies and emotions". He also told them he loves ketchup, hates Konnie Huq, and would love to work with "a real soulful vocalist", notably Alicia Keys. He might be better off sampling, then treating and tweaking. Any Female Voice and removing all traces of "the human", because otherwise he's in danger of disturbing the unearthly quiet of his tranquil, crepuscular electronica.

Since early 2010, Koreless has received love and support from Jamie XX, Jacques Greene, Sepalcure, Mark Pritchard and Mount Kimbie. BBC Radio 1 plays from Benji B and Giles Peterson and the BBC also recognized him as 'One To Watch in 2011'. His '4D / MTI' is released on Pictures Music in March 2011.

Joining Koreless on stage is Leeds based producer PANGAEA, aka Kevin McAuley, who is part of the new generation of young producers rising fast through the net-fed bass community.

Since 2007 McAuley has represented one third of Hessle Audio, the imprint he began along with friends Ben "UFO" Thomson and David "Pearson Sound" Kennedy while the trio were studying at the University of Leeds. As we're sure you're aware, Hessle Audio has since come to be known as one of UK club music's most consistently brilliant independent labels, while McAuley's rise as a producer has dovetailed that of the label. Again much like the label itself, McAuley has only offered his music slowly and steadily, maintaining an impeccably high standard that's ranged from contemporary garage (You & I / Router) to bassline tearouts (Hex / Fatalist). His latest transmission is Release, his most expansive body of work to date. Its eight tracks find McAuley dipping into his established pool of influences—garage swing, experimental flourishes, drum & bass functionality—while pushing deeper into the techno territory that's proving so fertile for UK artists right now.

Support on the night comes from Irish Producer Frank B who is fast becoming one of our favourite producers with his track ‘Chain of Fools’ which has recently been championed by Pete Tong on his essential mix radioshow.
