Lads can you please drop this argument it is tiresome and kind of beside the point.
The fact of the matter is this Republicans would eat their babies to stay in power. Thy have shown themselves capiable of any lie over the past 6 years and while there may be no direct evidence as yet to indicate the timing has been massaged anyone who is not at least cynical about the matter is a fool.
And even so is it really a point worth arguing over on way or another.
