Should the Army be used to fight gangs?

Maybe, if they get proper training
Are you insane? What is this, Iraq?
Yes, the violence is out of control
No, the Gardai should keep doing it

What should authorities investigate more: the E220m Baghdad bank robbery or the E6.8bn unaccounted for by the US government?
78% The E6.8bn. Check with Halliburton. They should know where it is
14% The E220m. That money could be used by terrorists
8% Forget about the E6.8bn. That's long gone
What should the US do in Iraq?
31% Pull out over the next year
29% Pull out now
25% Extend the war into Iran and grab all of the oil
15% Surge and 'clear, hold and build'

I always do those poll, just did one 5 minutes ago on the army and did one on the billboards today. I've to make up polls sometimes, it's a laugh. I base them on the thumped style of polls.

"How would you fix the health service?"
fuck I don't even know the answer to that

no, that would be beyond my experience. they are the ubermensch, those rte poll writers. its a senior member of the newsdesk writes them, like an editor.

fuck it, i forget that word David Norris used on The View that I've to look up. Fuck you Shane!

How well to do remember bank transactions you made in the 1990s?

63% Not at all, but I would if it involved 30,000 pounds
20% I barely remember the ones I made last week!
16% Better than Bertie does

yeah i really really liked that one. i think i answered like the 63% to that one.

you know, i nearly always vote like the majority. what does that say about me?
conservative shite?

todays poll is a bag of shite, im so pissed off, crap options

Is the Government doing enough for road safety?
No, but fewer cars, not bigger roads, is the answer
Yes, it's up to individual drivers to be safe
No, more improvements can be made

I saw that. I voted no, although I do also think a lot of it is up to individual drivers. If someone's speeding down the road sending a text and causes an accident, you can't really blame the roads. But the fact that the gardai don't seem to take any notice of reckless driving (and so many of them do it themselves) doesn't do much to provide safe driving incentives.

Road safety always seems to be discussed from the perspective of drivers, rather than ALL road users. Cyclists also use the roads, and pretty much everyone is, at some point in the day, a pedestrian.

I'd vote yes. People are stupid.

See, I voted no, but kind of for the same reason. I don't think people stupidity is the government's fault, but Irish people are not stupider than other people, so why is it that they're behaving so much more stupidly behind the wheel?

The fact that people have no concern for the law is one thing, but they ALSO have no respect for other road users. I'd be happy enough if they had one or the other -- ideally both -- but they don't.

So there has to be some role the government can play to help improve the situation. It's definitely not more roads, though. People drive like complete maniacs.

I voted no same as you jane. never thought about why.

I suppose havin 6 penos myself, (ha ha nearly write myspace now every time i go to write myself) I think i only really got scared when I got 6 points. maybe 12 limit is too much.

Also, why can ya go 100 on a shite country road and always get caught on some motorways with 100 limit, people never die on motorways , except that day there was fog on the N7.

It's a load of bollocks and I've said this to the gaurds loads of times and they agree, its just easy targetin, to catch people speedin on a good stretch of road.

Fucks sake, this one you'd have to listen to Morning Ireland to answer. I think it's about sperm on the body though

Was Justice Carney right to criticise Majella Holohan?

Yes, she crossed over the line
No, she was a grieving mother doing what she thought was right

Ah jayses, it's a headwrecker today as well. Al Gore, be president (if anyone believes Michael Moore, Chevron paid for the Clinton admin's campaign)

Or work on the environment? Optin in to Kyoto a few days before the Clinton term was up. Is this person doin the polls asleep this mornin? there arent enough informed eejits in Ireland to be able to do this poll are there? (christ , I feel like MobY)

Now that he's won the Nobel Peace prize, should Al Gore run for president? (multiple answers allowed)

Yes, but he probably won't
No, he should just sit on all his Google money and keep working for the environment
No, being US president would be beneath him at this point
Yes, he's just what the US needs
